You will need to wear two sets of sweats and clip the cats claws first. Try dawn dishwashing liquid on a tooth brush or a nail brush and hot water. Rinse the water off. Then add a cotton ball soaked in apple cider vinegar. The zits should disappear after a couple of days.

Those black flakes u removing is called Mange 😅. U need specialized shampoo and cat needs to get vaccinated against it. Mange if not properly treated can be spread and reinfect animals

You're making this worse. It doesn't need all of that messing about. Just make sure it's not eating from plastic bowls and gently loosen the black bits with a cotton bud.

For my kitty it was caused by dairy. Even a tiny bit would result in huge pus filled pimples. And don’t use glass bowls. Cats with longer teeth can scratch the glass and consume tiny shards of glass causing potential intestinal problems. Use metal or stoneware.

The problem should be prevented. It is simple. Get rid of all plastic feeding and water bowls. They carry bacteria no matter how hard we try to keep it clean. Use glass or ceramics plates for food and wide open bowls for water. Since switching 30 years ago none of my cats get acne.

Thats flea poop. Not in the skin.

All you need is a warm damp wash cloth. Just scrub the black spots off 2x a day every day until they dont return anymore.. about 7 days

Am I the only one who thinks this is wrong? Could you imagine taking a razor or buzzer to your face and repeatedly go over the same sores?! At least at the vet they could anesthetize the area. Poor kitty! This was hard to watch!!

This is caused by eating from a plastic bowl. Change to glass, ceramic or metal and it’ll clear up. Been there, Done that 🙀

Looks like an infection. It needs to be scrubbed with Betadine and some antibiotic cream applied. Of course all plastic bowls need to trashed. It would also be helpful to get some Ketkonozole shampooe and/or cream to kill off any fungal elements that might be lurking, especially if the area has been moist or wet from drool or water.

I used ACS colloidal silver Gel on my cat and it eliminated the acne in two treatments in one week.
